You’ll just have to see/hear it for yourself but it definitely surprised me. The time signature changes are all over the place and it definitely has this kind of My Bloody Valentine with some Tool thing going on for it. Well this song is certainly… Interesting. Even though the song is under 2 minutes it’s definitely a favourite that will keep you coming back. Many will ask “why wasn’t this included in the original game?” well I think the techniques that 2014 added shown in the play-through videos say it all. If you enjoy the song you should let Matt know!

Best get to work on that technique guitarists! The song doesn’t disappoint on bass either with it’s varied sections and heavy yet undistorted main riff. A recurring theme in 2014’s bonus songs if you notice will be tapping. Versus Them returns to Rocksmith with a great tune that doesn’t disappoint when it comes to it’s riffs, melody, and solo. Note: These 10 songs listed be can be unlocked by completing missions in Rocksmith 2014 or by completing songs in Score Attack.

While in the previous game there were only six tracks (3 of them involving Seth Chapla) Rocksmith 2014 ups the ante with 11 tracks brought to you by various musical acts involved with the Ubisoft franchise. Rocksmith 2014’s setlist has lots to choose from but often most people forget about the bonus tracks, or perhaps they haven’t unlocked them yet. I don't like tuning up to A461 but You Really Got Me isn't hard either.Hello Rocksmith fans and welcome to 2014! Hope you enjoyed your holidays. Other bass tracks that you might be able to master without too much trouble: All I Wanna Do, Losing My Religion, Paint It Black, Knockin' On Heaven's Door. Took me 4 tries to master instead of 2-3, but worth trying. Once Master Mode kicked it I found myself remembering what the next notes were before they even came up. X-Kid Almost entirely played on a few frets on the A string, another simple song.įor A Fool Not super simple but this song is nice and slow the whole way through. Just lots of E, A, B, and C# with some F# thrown into the pre-chorus. Pour Some Sugar On Me Another simple one, and the bassist gets lots of breaks. Only two basic parts to the song and they use many of the same notes. Love That's Gone A very chill, slow, and simple song. Make sure you actually play the slides, I wound up stuck at 99% because I was skipping them. Mary Jane's Last Dance Some tricky bits here and there but overall a pretty simple song. I changed how I played the chorus to eliminate the need to play the open A or D strings but the choice is yours. Sixteen Saltines A little tricky but nothing a halfway competent player can handle. You'll probably be able to play it with your eyes shut after a few tries. All three parts are essentially the same so if you can master one, you should be able to master them all.įor the rest I just mastered bass tracks:īlack Magic Extremely simple. Blitzkrieg Bop One of the easiest and simplest songs in the game. Mastering one song on multiple paths will count as more than one "song" for the purposes of this achievement. However, this achievement is cumulative across lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and bass so don't feel obligated to stick to one path. If you don't have a bass (or have small hands) you can use a regular guitar with the in-game bass emulator to play bass instead. I recommend mostly focusing on bass tracks to make life easier.
